Seasonal Walks and Year Round Events (YREs) are self-service walks: the walker chooses a day and time to walk that walk and handles all registration, payment and book stamping duties on their own. No walking staff is present and trails are not marked. The walker relies on a set of directions and a map that have been field-tested to provide an interested 5 km or 10 km route.
Other AVA Clubs across the country offer Seasonal Walks and YREs. Click here to see a list of events that can be filtered by criteria, including “Seasonal/YRE”.
Details on our club’s 1 Seasonal Walks and 4 YREs are listed below the interactive map. Each of these walks is available by using the Online Start Box and all (except Glenwood) also have a Physical Start/Walk Box located in a business open to the public. Physical Boxes are only available during when those businesses are open.
