Yanney Heritage Park – 5k and 10k

Join the Tater Tours group for this walk and three others Sept. 17-20. This mostly paved trail shows off Yanney Heritage Park with all of its beautiful attractions. One 5k loop wanders through the park to stroll through the garden labyrinth, visit the observation tower, statuary and the lake. The other 5k route is an out and back along Betty’s Trail following the north channel of the Platte River, a Water Trail.

Go to south parking lot on Yanney Avenue. Watch for yellow AVA signs in the park. Start point is Vernon’s Point shelter.
