Schramm Park State Recreation Area is a hidden gem nestled among the rolling hills of the Platte River valley. It is home to the state’s first fish hatchery and has well-maintained wooded trails including a suspension bridge and breathtaking views of the Platte River. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails. The state-of-the art Schramm Education Center, formerly known as the Aksarben Aquarium, is open for a separate fee.
