Magic City, South Omaha 5k and 10k

Explore South Omaha, a culturally diverse area where many residents are descended from the Czech, Irish, Italian, Latino, Lithuanian and Polish immigrants. Many buildings are on the National Historic Registry. The 5k will take in 24th St. with its many local ethnic businesses and will be an easy stroll. The 10k walk adds some significant hills down to the river with its stunning views and through Spring Lake Park.

• The trail rating for the 5k route is 1A and 3A for the 10k route.
• Strollers will be able to handle the route
• Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail, but not in buildings
• A group walk will start at 9:30, if you’d like to walk with others.
