Downtown Omaha Group Walk

A busload of 50 people wanting to walk the Downtown Omaha walk will be arriving this morning. Here’s your chance to make new friends and show them some of the best parts of Omaha! We’ll register and pay at The Landmark Building, 1299 Farnam Street. Omaha, 68102 (exact change really appreciated!) and then walking to where the bus has parked. Most people will be walking the 5 km RiverFront route, including a trip up to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. Others will want to add the 5 km Urban Route, showing off some of the best of downtown, the Old Market and the Capitol District.

• The trail rating for the RiverFront route is 1A and for the Urban route is 2A (a little hillier).
• Strollers will be able to handle the route.
• Leashed dogs are welcome.
• If you stamp books, that can be done during registration.
