SUMMARY:Chalco Group Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our final walk at Chalco Hills! (Please note: this route will not be renewed for 2027.) We will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday\, Oct. 12\, to complete the 5K route\, followed by supper at Hawaiian Brothers. \n\n\n\nMeeting Point: Highway 370 Access Parking Area. From I-80\, take Exit #439 and travel west. Pass the traffic light and go over the small bridge; about ¼ mile past the light\, turn right (north side) into the gravel lot marked with the “Highway 370 Access” sign. \n\n\n\nAll participants must sign a waiver. Record keepers can visit the Holiday Inn Express after the walk to stamp their books.

DESCRIPTION:A beloved tradition returns! The walk this year will be through local parks in Papillion. Bring a pie to share for after the walk. Sit and have a slice (or two!) with complimentary coffee or hot cocoa. Leftovers will go to a local food pantry. \n\n\n\n\nA 10km and a 5 km route will be available.\n\n\n\nThe trail rating for this walk is 1A (flat\, on sidewalks).\n\n\n\nStrollers will be able to handle the route\n\n\n\nLeashed dogs are welcome\n\n\n\nA group walk will start at 9:30\, if you’d like to walk with others.\n\n\n\nPlease return from walking by 1 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Brighten up your winter evening with a festive walk through The RiverFront lights! \n\n\n\nFestive Fun: Dress in your favorite holiday costume—even reindeer antlers count!—and get a free pair of 3D glasses to experience the lights like never before (While supplies last). \nWarm Treats: Afterwards\, cozy up inside the gallery with sweet treats\, hot cocoa\, and coffee while taking in the art.  \nDog Friendly-our-legged friends are invited to join the cheer! \n\n\n\nSet your own pace anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 PM (finish by 8:00 PM)\, or jump in with the group walk at 4:30 PM.  \n\n\n\nRegistration is free\, thanks to KANEKO and The RiverFront! \nPlease consider bringing a donation of hats\, mittens\, or socks to help support our local homeless shelter. \n\n\n\n\nThe trail rating for this walk is 2A\n\n\n\nStrollers will be able to handle the route\n\n\n\nLeashed dogs are welcome\n\n\n\nA group walk will start at 4:30\, if you’d like to walk with others.
